Hello, I'm Emma
I graduated from the University of Northampton with a first-class degree in Podiatry and have since worked within the NHS, treating a wide range of conditions. During this time, I’ve developed experience in diabetes care, high-risk wound management, nail surgery, and musculoskeletal podiatry.
Working within both the NHS and private sector has allowed me to build a strong foundation, with particular interests in pathological nails, biomechanics, and paediatrics. I believe that the ability to relieve pain and improve mobility is one of the most important and rewarding aspects of my role.
What made you want to be a podiatrist?
There were several influences. I saw a podiatrist as a child, have a friend in the profession, and have always known from a young age that I want to help people and pursue a career in healthcare.
What strengths or skill sets do you have as a podiatrist?
My strengths lie in combining strong clinical knowledge with a calm, friendly, and patient-focused approach. I understand that some patients may feel nervous, so I always take the time to make you feel comfortable, listened to, and at ease while providing effective, tailored treatment.
What do you enjoy outside of life as a podiatrist?
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the gym, travelling, horse riding, and going on long walks with the dogs.
