Hello, I'm Luke

I graduated as a podiatrist from the University of East London in 2015. I then completed a PG Certificate in Podiatric Sports Medicine from Queen Mary University in 2017 and then a MSc in Theory of Podiatric Surgery. I have also undertaken further training in ear health assessment and microsuction to become an Ear Health Practitioner.

I have worked in both the NHS and private sector and joined The Orchard Cinic in 2019.

What made you want to be a podiatrist?

I was studying medicine initially but unfortunately had to drop out due to lack of finances. I wanted to get into something medically related and stumbled into podiatry as one for the few options available to me.

What strengths or skill sets do you have as a podiatrist?

I have completed further training after my podiatry degree in biomechanics, injection therapy (verruca needling, steroid injections & Curacorn treatments), ultrasound and skin surgery. I have also recently completed audiology training to conduct hearing tests and ear wax removal via microsuction. I really enjoy biomechnics and gait analysis, nail surgery and injection therapy.

What do you enjoy outside of life as a podiatrist?
